CONDITIONING

Conditioning is held Monday-Thursday from 3:30-4:30 in the weight room.  All non-Winter and Spring athletes are expected to attend.  Questions?  Contact Coach Mackey at terrence.mackey@ops.org

PARTICIPATION MATTERS
We believe in participation.  Our staff is working on ways to make sure that participation is awarded.
      - Rewards for those that attend at least 3 to 4 days a week.
      - Recognition for those that consistently attend.

3 TENETS OF RESPECT

1.  SELF-RESPECT
      - Be true to yourself.
      - Be where you are supposed to be when you are supposed to be.
      - Accept responsibility for your actions.

2.  RESPECT YOUR GIFTS
      - Take care of things given to you.
      - Take care of things you have earned.
      - Learn to give.

3.  RESPECT ONE ANOTHER
      - Do not use derogatory language (i.e. Use of the "N" word or similar language.
      - Do not take possession of any item that does not belong to you.
      - Do not lie or cover up the truth.  This can be difficult for some, but understand, that lying usually reflects a lack of self-confidence and self-respect.

Even though Tenet 1 (Self-Respect) and Tenet 2 (Respect Your Gifts) are largely self-motivated, our staff and administration will seek to support the development of these characteristics in our program.  Tenet 3 (Respect One Another) speaks to the team environment that we desire.  Players that break Tenet 3 will be disciplined.
